Required fields

  • No single filter is mandatory, but date or location filters are recommended.

Validation rules

  • Filter values must come from configured locations, POS, vendors and categories.

Exceptions

  • The report shows returned sales lines only, not all negative movements from every module.

Common errors

  • Users compare returns to stock corrections or credit documents even though the report is built from sales return lines.
  • The list is too large because no date filter is used.

Troubleshooting

  • Use receipt time or creation date filters to narrow the period.
  • Use the document number link to verify the source transaction before drawing conclusions.

Questions / Gaps

  • The exact business rule that populates ReturnFlag should be confirmed in live use if a formal return definition is needed.
